A walkthrough of the steps required to complete the vubbing process using TrueSync, from ingesting your media through to a conformed output ready for export.

The steps of a project

Every TrueSync project follows the same path. Each step below maps to an article in this Knowledge Base. Work through them in order and you'll take a project from raw footage to a delivered conform.

1. Create a project
   Set up the container for all your media.
2. Ingest the media
   Upload source video and dialogue stems.
3. Create shots
   Cut your media into shots via an EDL.
4. Character creation, audio assignment & review
   Assign a dialogue stem and appearances to each character.
5. Create vubs
   Generate the visual dub for each shot.
6. Review vubs
   Compare outputs and set a status.
7. Refine vubs (if needed)
   Fine-tune lip sync in the refinement tool.
8. Export & Conform
   Create downloadable output files for individual shots or combine source and vubs into one file.
